Intensive Supervision
Initiated in FY 2001, the Intensive Supervision Services Program provides a more concentrated level of home detention supervision for youth permitted to remain at home while pending trial or disposition. Service providers work with youth and families to ensure compliance with court ordered rules and includes frequent visual and phone contact and strict behavior monitoring. Contact with youth and families occurs in their own homes, schools, or other locations in their community. Typical services include curfew monitoring, behavioral intervention, and informal individual and family counseling averaging approximately 8-12 hours per week of service for each participant.
